    Beaverton, Oregon is located seven miles from downtown Portland in Washington County's famous "silicon forest." This city is the fifth largest community in Oregon. This city has successfully executed a plan of controlled growth. Since 1990, the population of Beaverton has increased by 45%, but has been measured and well-planned for. As the population continues to rise, the city planners are prepared. New housing developments are being built to support the popularity of the city.
